Help Children Join the Tapori Network

Tapori is a worldwide network of children whose motto is, "We want all children to have the same chances" Through Tapori, 7 to 13 year-olds learn from and about one another through a newsletter and website relating true stories of children’s acts and expressions of friendship, empathy, and fairness. Hands-on activities invite children to create and add their own ideas, actions, and projects for a world without poverty. Tapori groups and presentations occur through our partnerships with local organizations in New York, the Washington, DC area, Appalachia, and New Orleans. Schools and individual group leaders use Tapori resources to lead activities throughout the US. Learn more at www.tapori.org.

Tapori Silhouette Campaign
Since July of 2006, children across the United States, from Arizona to Massachusetts have participated in the Tapori Silhouette Campaign. It is another way Tapori International and the Fourth World Movement encourage children to express themselves and their hopes for a better world. The children make their silhouettes by tracing their bodies on a piece of paper or fabric, and then decorating their silhouette to show who they are and where they live. The children then add a paper heart on which they have written messages like what they think all children should have or what needs to happen to create a world without poverty.
